August 4–5, 2017
The runners and volunteers of the Champaign St. Jude Run had an amazing start from Downtown Champaign this year! We were thrilled to hear the encouraging cheers and claps of well-wishers and downtown patrons. It helped energize us for the long night and miles ahead of us.
Thank you so much to Lacey Howard and her son Landon. Lacey gave a brief talk about the mission of St. Jude, and how it saved her young son's life from a cancerous neuroblastoma. We were grateful that she shared this aspect of their lives—we can only hope that through the money raised on the weekend of August 4–5, 2017, that more cures are found.
St. Jude's mission is to find cures for children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases through research and treatment. And no family ever pays St. Jude for anything. This on-going mission cannot function without donations and the efforts of supporters who spend a lot of time and energy to help make the difference for the families of children with devastating illnesses.
Please help us make a difference in the life of a child. You can make a donation today!
Thank You! $57,000 Raised!
