CU St. Jude Run — August 2-3

The 2013 Champaign-to-Peoria St. Jude Run season is here. Mark your calendars for Friday and Saturday, August 2-3, 2013. We have a lot of improvements, new plans, and some exciting ideas to build on last year's Run! This year will mark our 17th year running for the children of St. Jude.

 

Within hours of emailing our list of past runners, we created a list of more people who are intending to run to Peoria than participated last year! 2013 is already shaping up to be a banner year for the Champaign-Urbana-St. Joe Runners!

 

This year's Run will have a poignancy to it. Jim Maloof--the beloved Mayor of Peoria--passed away this year. He was a driving force from the very beginning of the St. Jude Run, and was a key person in the success of St. Jude, and the Peoria Affiliate. His annual presence at the St. Jude Telethon will be sorely missed.
